I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated in a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, and thankfully, they were away from the road, making it peaceful. However, the noise from passing cars was disruptive late at night, and the view of 'fireworks' turned out to be a mistake.

The service was friendly and welcoming. The staff was always pleasant, although a bit presumptuous during interactions. I also learned that the jewelry designer working in the hotel is highly respected in the community.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a stone's throw from the main Zocolo and conveniently close to the Saturday silver market. The rooms are reasonably priced for what they offer; however, being placed at the far end of the hallway on the top floor might not be worth it.
